Biggleswade Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic
Chartered Physiotherapist

I was born in Manchester and went to Manchester High School For Girls. After leaving home I lived and worked in Marseilles, France, for a year followed by 3 years training at Guy's Hospital Physiotherapy School. I have worked in London, Hannover (Germany), Aldershot and then moved to Bedfordshire where I set up my own Physiotherapy practice - 18 years ago. My job is interesting, challenging and very rewarding and I am rarely bored.

I enjoy travelling and spent 5 months travelling round the world when in my 20's. These days my trips have had to be a little shorter due to work! I  recently went to Kenya on safari and have already booked my next trip - a Nile cruise.

My main hobby is rowing which I have become quite fanatical about despite only starting 2 years ago. This year I have rowed in various competitions and last month raced on  the Thames in ‘Tideway' - for those non-rowers that is the Oxford/Cambridge Boat Race course. It was awesome and can't wait to get a chance to do it again.

I joined Rotary when I moved into town with my son (who is 18) in order to meet new people and to do new things including fundraising both for local and international causes. The fundraising events we do are usually socials and aimed at having fun whilst raising money.
